Registration Process

 

New Family Registration & Application Requirements

 Assumption Academy welcomes all new students and hopes to provide an education for all interested faith-filled families. We understand that choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. We strive to work with families to educate each child to know, believe and live the Catholic faith and to continue lifelong learning. The registration process is our introduction and provides the opportunity to get to know you and your child so as to provide you with the best experience possible. The application for enrollment will be provided to you once the registration process is complete and all of the following requirements are fulfilled.

 

Age Requirements:
Preschool 3s - Child must be 3 years old by August 1st
Preschool 4s - Child must be 4 years old by August 1st
PreK - Child must be 5 years old by December 31st
Kindergarten - Child must be 5 years old by August 1st

 

Application Process for Grades 1 – 8

  1. Schedule a Tour - Click Here to Sign-up for a Tour 
  2. All new families and students must meet with our school principal, Mr. Tom Krebs
  3. After the tour, a link will be sent to the family to provide documents for review by school principal and staff. These documents include:
  • Copy of child's birth certificate
  • Copy of child's baptismal certificate
  • Child’s most recent report card, standardized test scores, IEP/ETR provided 
  1. Meet with our pastor, Father Finbar Ramsak (please call 440-526-1177 
  2. Upon review of records and acceptance, family pays required Non-refundable registration fee of $150 to secure a spot

 

 

Registration Process for Preschool and Kindergarten

  1. After the tour, a link will be sent to the family to provide documents for review by school principal and staff. These documents include:
  • Copy of child's birth certificate
  • Copy of child's baptismal certificate
  1. Meet with our pastor, Father Finbar Ramsak (please call 440-526-1177 x224 to schedule)
  2. Registration Fees - Non-refundable registration fee of $150 per child
  3. Children entering Kindergarten will participate in a screening for their developmental progress before final acceptance for the upcoming school year.
