A very popular club for all those interested in expanding their computer knowledge! Students meet weekly in the Computer Lab to obtain a deeper knowledge of computer hardware and the latest software tools. They get “hands on” experience by working with the Technology Coordinator and Moderator in addressing the computer and technology needs of the teachers.

This year our Techno Club students will be learning the "Greenfoot programming environment (developed by Poul Henriksen (Masters project), Bruce Quig, David McCall and the "BlueJ Group" at the University of Kent in Australia). Students will learn standard object-oriented programming in Java by developing simulations and interactive games, such as a Crab Game; Making Music: on-screen piano; Interacting objects: Newton's Lab; Collision Detection: Asteroids; Simulations: Ants collecting food."

In previous years the Techno Club members have learned how to program in Visual Basic, HTML (building websites and search engines), Smart Board Notebook Software, use of Adobe Professional, etc.
