To ensure the safety of the student body during dismissal, a formal procedure is in place to allow the bus riders and car riders to leave in an orderly fashion. The Safety Patrol is responsible for securing the parking lot and notifying the lead bus when all the students are on their respective buses. Once the buses have left the parking lot, the car riders are dismissed. Checks are in place to ensure that no one takes a ride from an unauthorized person. It is only after all the students are secured in their car that the cars are dismissed.
