All boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 who belong to Assumption Parish and attend PSR or Assumption Academy are eligible to participate in the Track and Field Program. Conditioning practices are held on the Cuyahoga Valley Towpath as soon as the weather permits in the spring. In addition, practices are held at the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School track. Field events include: shot put, discus, running long jump, relay races, high jump and standing long jump. The running events include: 100, 200, 400 meter dashes, 800 and 1600 meter runs and the 4 x 100 relay. Students are encouraged to participate in any events which interest them.
