Details

Beginning in 4th, grade students have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument and participate in the band program. A parent meeting is held to discuss the program and instrument rental. Semi-private lessons are incorporated into the school day along with the band practice.

Beginning Band consists of 4th graders and Advanced Band is comprised of 5th through 8th graders. Both bands perform at the Winter Concert held in December and also at the Spring Concert in May.

In addition, select students from the Advanced Band have the opportunity to participate in the Jazz Band. This group practices weekly in the evening and performs at the Spring Concert.
